California oak
Coastal oak burns hot and clean with a mild smoke character. Cooking over a live oak fire is what defines the style.
Our story
Built from years of hands-on experience cooking over oak fire on California's Central Coast.

How it began
Heritage Oak BBQ grew from a love of Central Coast cooking—the kind built around glowing oak coals, simple seasoning, and food shared around a full table.
Our approach is inspired by the Santa Maria barbecue tradition, but the goal is bigger than following a formula. We want every menu to feel generous, honest, and right for the people gathered around it.
Heritage Oak BBQ is currently being built carefully from the ground up. That means developing the menu, equipment, service systems, and customer experience before taking on more than we can deliver well. We believe earning trust matters more than pretending to be bigger than we are.
Heritage Oak BBQ's roots go back to earlier catering and live-fire cooking experience beginning around 2014.

Salt, black pepper, and garlic. The beef and the fire do the work.
Tri-tip, pinquito beans, grilled garlic bread, and green salad — the meal Central Coast gatherings have shared for generations.
How we work
We only take what we can deliver well
Availability is limited while systems, equipment, and menus are finalized. We'll tell you honestly whether we can serve your date.
Menus are built around the event
Guest count, venue, service style, and budget shape the final plan — not a fixed package sheet.
Everything in writing
Menu, service, travel, and pricing are confirmed in a written proposal before anything is booked.
Direct communication
You work with the people responsible for cooking and serving your food.

Event inquiry
Share your date, guest count, and location and we'll confirm what we can accommodate.
